Where Lines Settle
(2024, Cape Town – South Africa)
Photographed in Cape Town, this series moves through the harder edges of daily rhythm,
where moments of work, pause and habit overlap without announcement.
Fish rest along curved lines, giving the frame its structure.
Men lean into their game, steady and absorbed.
Nets and ropes fall into loose patterns of colour and tension.
The images stay close to what is left behind,
to small traces and brief gestures that form their own quiet order.
Each frame grows from what is already present,
holding the space between repetition and pause,
between what shifts and what remains.
